Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?
A: I plan to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Spanish at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I am inspired by a desire to make something new that could change the world and my international travels!
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: I am the middle child with two sisters, and they sure keep life interesting! My family loves to spend weekends together out in our boat on Lake Lanier, and we really enjoy volunteering together wherever we can, Gwinnett Church, Operation Christmas Child, the North Gwinnett Co-op, you name it!

A: North Gwinnett
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: Adam Edge. He was the coolest mentor you could ask for. He was always incredibly supportive and could start up a conversation with just about anyone. He brightened everyone’s day with his booming laugh and big smile.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: I would travel to anywhere in Spain. I would love a chance to immerse myself in the culture and get some in-depth practice with my Spanish. The unique architecture of Gaudí is so impressive, and gelato is to die for!
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: My favorite movies are Tangled, any Harry Potter movie, and Spider-Man homecoming. My favorite TV shows are Psych, Criminal Minds, and This is Us.
Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?
A: My physics teacher, Mr. Luna, taught me that you should never be afraid to ask a question; you never know what you’ll discover.
Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: AJR or Lady Antebellum
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
A: I would love to have lunch with Mrs. Denise Brinson at Cheeky’s. She always has such great advice, and I love her bright personality.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
A: I love Sims Lake Park. The quiet trails when the trees have sprouted their green leaves is so peaceful, and it’s always a fun spot to meet friends for a walk.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: I’m not sure what the future holds, but I hope to have found a job that I love where I can apply my passions for physics and calculus. I hope to have traveled more and seen and experienced more cultures, but most importantly I hope I’m happy.
Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: Month: July because of warm days in the sun spent with friends Holiday: Christmas because I get to spend time with my family and enjoy the Christmas spirit. Plus the decorations are always so fun! Single Day: The last day of school because you get to look back at all the things you’ve accomplished that year, and you get to look forward to a long summer break.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: My mom because she always works so hard and pushes herself to be the best she can be.
Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different?
A: I would have attended more sports games. I wish I’d seen more soccer, baseball, lacrosse, swimming, etc and been there to support my peers.
Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?
A: I miss my friends and my amazing teachers. They filled my school days with laughter and fun and shenanigans, and it’s just not the same through a computer screen.
Q: Were you involved in any sports or extra curricular activities?
A: Colorguard, Winterguard, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, North Gwinnett Student Leadership Team
Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?
A: Hang out with my friends at the park and catch up on all the time we’ve missed.
