Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?
A: I will be attending the University of South Carolina to study nursing in hopes of becoming a labor and delivery or pediatrics nurse.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: I live with my parents, Terry and Libby, and two dogs, Willow and Madison.
Q: Where do you go to school?
A: North Gwinnett High School
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: Monterrey, Mellow Mushroom, and Ippolito’s.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: Adam Edge. I was in the SYL class of 2018, and Adam taught me so much. He taught me about the importance of community and what it means to be a leader. I will forever miss his contagious joy and laugh.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: I would travel to Venice, Italy. It is such a beautiful city, and I would love to see it with my own eyes.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: My favorite movie is The Help, and my favorite tv show is Friends.
Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?
A: Mr. Weeks, my AP Literature teacher, always encourages us to be comfortable and confident in who we are.
Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: Khalid or Elton John
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
A: Adele. Her music is incredible, and she seems like a fun person to spend time with. We would meet at Planet Smoothie.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
A: I love how involved the community gets in every event Suwanee plans. There is always something to do and someone new to talk to.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: I see myself as a registered nurse working in the labor and delivery or pediatrics unit of a hospital.
Q: What show are you binge watching right now?
A:How I Met Your Mother
Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: Month: September because it’s my birth month and the last warm month of the year Holiday: Easter Day: Christmas day
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: My Grandad. He is always encouraging me, supporting me, and cheering me on.
Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different?
A: I would prioritize spending more time with friends and going to more sporting events.
Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?
A: I miss seing my friends everyday. I took having classes and eating lunch together everyday for granted.
Q: Were you involved in any sports or extra curricular activities?
A: I am involved in Freshman Mentoring, National Honor Society, Beta Club, and I am president of French Honor Society.
Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?
A: I want to go out to eat with all of my friends and spend time together.
