Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?

A: I’ll be attending UGA for Scientific Illustration

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

A: My family of 5 supports me in all my endeavors (even if they’re a little foolish) and love to watch me grow and accomplish my goals

 

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: North Gwinnett High School

 

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community? 

A: Mori house

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: Actually, a couple of places…my senior trip was supposed to travel through France, Germany, and Switzerland, so I’d love to be visiting those places, meeting new people, and eating good food!

 

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: National Treasure, National Treasure 2

 

Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?

A: The best advice I’ve received actually came from two teachers, the first my 11th grade APUSH teacher (Clendenen) who told me “Don’t hit people you disagree with even when you’re right” and the second from my 11th grade AP Lang teacher (Grodzicki) who told me “You can hit people, but they better really deserve it!”

 

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?

A: Panic! At the Disco

 

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

A: I’d like to have lunch with Lin Manuel Miranda because I’d want to hear his creative process for the beautiful musicals he’s created. He also just seems like kinda a rad guy in general

 

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: My favorite thing about this community is it’s commitment to art

 

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

A: Wherever I am in the future is not something that I can really conceptualize. I like to think about the good things in the moment, and hope those good things take me good places.!

 

Q: What show are you binge watching right now? 

A: Limitless

 

Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?

A: Halloween

 

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

A: My parents (especially you dad…)

 

Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?

A: Honestly, my teachers. I wish I could’ve said goodbye in person and thank them for all the work they’ve put into each and every one of us students because after we go off, it’s their influence on us that shapes our futures

 

Q: Were you involved in any sports or extra curricular activities?

A: I played lacrosse from 9th-10th grade and did figure skating

 

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?

A: Be able to hug my friends and not have to do a big swerve every time I have to walk on the same side of the street as other people
