Mason Turpin – Collins Hill High School

Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?

A: I plan on attending Columbia State Community College in TN

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

A: My parents are awesome. Their name are Gary and Dawn Turpin. They’re always there no matter what and that’s a good thing because right now this is just a hard thing to take in. No Senior Prom, no Senior week, no Senior anything. I’ve needed an ear more than usual lately just to talk. They are bringing positivity when it’s really hard to see right now. The big picture is that what has happened has definitely made me stronger. I have the best parents ever and they believe in me and I know that because of them I’m already ahead of the game.

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: Collins Hill High School

A: Hugh Jackman, he seems like a down to earth guy and one of my favorite actors. Of course I would pick Outback.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: My favorite thing about Suwanee is that it’s a huge family. When you go out to dinner, or any of the numerous evens at Suwannee Town Center there’s a chance your will run into Family, Friends or just a familiar face.

A: My Dad, his talk and knowledge about life have made me the person I am today.

Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different?

A: Just talk more to friends and make the effort to make more memories. If I knew a few weeks ago would be my last time to see or talk to some my Graduating class I would definitely love to have that week back.
