Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I live in Sugar Hill with my mom, dad, and two brothers. My younger brother is a rising freshman at North Gwinnett High and my older brother is finishing his second year at The University of Georgia. We love watching movies, listening to music, playing games, cuddling our dog Gracie, hiking, and traveling. We like to visit new places and experience adventures wherever we go.
What are your plans after graduation?
I am traveling to Italy with my family where we plan to visit Rome, Florence, Sorrento and Capri. I have not committed to a college yet, however, I do plan on pursuing a degree in Biology on the pre-med track this fall.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Taqueria Tsunami and Marlow's Tavern
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I've always wanted to visit Santorini, Greece. I grew up loving the Mamma Mia movies (which is set in Greece) and so it has always been a dream vacation spot for me.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One of my favorite movies is Pride and Prejudice. As for tv shows, I love Friends and Greys Anatomy.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
I would say first and foremost, be kind to others. You never know what struggles people are facing. I would also say, don't shy away from honest, hard work. Eventually, it does pay off!
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
Definitely Friends. I love their bond, their authentic friendship, and they make me laugh! Living in the city with my best friends would slay every day.
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
If I could have lunch with anyone, it would be Taylor Swift. She is my favorite music artist and over the past four years of high school, I have connected with her songs lyrically and have used them as an escape from hard situations and stressful periods in my life. If I could have lunch with her, I would thank her for the impact she made on me, and I would explain to her how much of an inspiration she is in my life. And we would probably go to Starbucks.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
I love how the people here are very supportive and giving. It has been wonderful to grow up in a community where everyone is rooting for you.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I would love to be in medical school at Duke University.
What is something on your bucket list?
I want to stay in one of those little houses on the water in Tahiti.
What is your go to band / singer when you can't decide what to listen to?
Taylor Swift
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
December is my favorite month. I love Christmas time!! And June 9th is the best day on the calendar-my birthday!
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
The All American Bowl at Taqueria Tsunami. You have to try it.
Who inspires you to be better?
My mom, who always challenges me to be the best version of myself.
