Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is huge! Whether it be my three siblings and mom at home or my girlfriend’s family, I have so many people to be around. We all love to embrace each other and participate in each other’s lives, we try to be inclusive and consider even friends family. You’d love to spend a day with us.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend a four-year college that I cannot yet disclose because it’s supposed to be a surprise to my family and friends. I want to major in Finance while minoring in communication, ultimately finding a pathway into a financial career.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Beto’s Tacos and Chipotle.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I’d definitely travel to Dubai, i want to enjoy the sand and the lifestyle over there that is so well-spoken about. I feel like i’d enjoy myself a lot as I’ve never traveled out of the country before.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Favorite Movie- Meet the Robinsons Favorite TV Show- The Spectacular Spiderman
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
The best advice I’ve received that I would give is to always enjoy the moment. I would say that nothing is guaranteed to last forever and that each moment will pass regardless of how good or bad it is. It is best to embrace it as much as possible and to keep moving forward.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
Out of all shows, I would want to be in Naruto: Shippuden. This is a shonen jump show and I love the plot and storyline, but I’d like to change some things and feel like by putting myself in the show I can do that.
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I would want to enjoy lunch with my dad. As he passed away back in March 2022, I’ve thought about every moment I could spend with him since. I’d want to eat at Beto’s Tacos because they have the best food to me and I’d also be able to show him my job and where I work.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
The welcomeness that the community has. Everyone is so nice and inviting into their businesses, cultures, you name it.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5 to 10 years I hope to be out of college and settled down in my own home working my dream job. Hopefully still apart of this community and its good opportunities.
What is something on your bucket list?
I’ve always wanted to go skydiving. It seems so scary but its okay to do things scared.
What is your go to band / singer when you can't decide what to listen to?
I always enjoy Brent Faiyaz’s music. He has a really versatile discography that I can never get tired of.
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Favorite month is june of course as its my birthday month and when its hot and I can go outside. Favorite holiday is Christmas because who doesn’t love to give and get. Best single day on the calendar has to be January 1st, the start of a new beginning every time.
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Ice Cream, no matter the flavor its always a 10 out of 10.
Who inspires you to be better?
My mom, she inspires me so much as she’s so independent and still so successful.
