Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?

A: I will be attending the University of Alabama in the fall. UA has a great business school and this will be my field of study. Also, when I went to visit, I just felt like it was the greatest fit for me. From the moment I walked on campus, I knew it was where I wanted to spend the next four years.

A: My Dad, John Kahren is originally from Indiana and my Mom is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have a sister Lindsay who is two years behind me and she also goes to North Gwinnett. She plays on both the North varsity tennis and volleyball teams. My dad has been a huge inspiration for me. I am always inspired by his generosity, kindness and caring. He has 130 employees at his company and I see him strive to take care of them in all that he does running his company. He has also made so much possible for me during my years of sports, specifically my golf career. I am thankful he coached all my youth teams for over 12 years. My mom has been a stay at home mom since I was born and I am so thankful for the time she has always spent helping me reach my goals.
