Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?

A: Intern with HOI (Honduras Outreach International) I went on a mission trip with my family last June and had the most impactful week of my life. It inspired our family to go again, but on our own, in December, and it changed my heart even more. I would love to go back and be able to serve more in the country I am happiest!!!

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

A: There are my parents, Andy and Caroline, my 16 year old sister Emma, my 14 year old brother Tyler, and our dog Jackson.

 

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: North Gwinnett High School

 

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community? 

A: Chick fil-AChipotle.

 

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

A: Reed Moore! (the former Gwinnett Church InsideOut pastor)

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: I would go to Australia, just because I think it would be an interesting place to go to and I would never have a reason to be there besides to just..be there because I wanted to!

 

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: One of my favorite movies is Mission Impossible: Fallout and one of my favorite tv shows is The Office!

 

Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?

A: To always live life to the fullest, to keep going, no matter what, and to stay true to who you are because that’s the way God made you. From John O’Keefe

 

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?

A: Maroon 5

 

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

A: I would love to have lunch with Andy Stanley. He has been such an inspiration and for me and someone I look up to so much. My go-to lunch ‘meet-up’ place is Panera 🙂

 

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: My favorite thing about our community is the community itself. I work at Chick-Fil-A Moore Road and the relationships and friendships I have made through my co-workers and even the customers, is incredible.

 

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

A: I see myself married with at least one kid, living happily and faithfully with whatever I choose to do.

 

Q: What show are you binge watching right now? 

A: I am currently binge watching How to Get Away with Murder

 

Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?

A: My favorite month is June and favorite holiday is Christmas. The best single day on the calendar is August 10th aka National Lazy Day

 

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

A: My parents inspire me to be better every single day, whether they know it or not

 

Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different?

A: I would definitely put more effort into being more involved with and through North.

 

Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?

A: I miss all my classmates who I was so used to seeing every day, and my church small group girls.

 

Q: Were you involved in any sports or extra curricular activities?

A: I was involved in Beta and Stuco.

 

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?

A: I want to have a post quarantine celebration party!!!
