Cameron Speicher – North Gwinnett

Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?

A: I am attending the University of North Georgia and major in Kinesiology. I chose this major because of the time I spent in physical therapy I found it very interesting and liked learning about physical therapy and exercise science

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

A: My mom Stacey is a second grade teacher at Level Creek Elementary school. My dad Chris works for IHG and my brother Andrew attended UGA.

 

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: North Gwinnett High School

 

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community? 

A: Cheeky, Sunshine, Sonic and Taco Mac

 

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

A: Drew Garland

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: Anywhere to get out of the house

 

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: All the Fast and Furious movies and The Office or Friends

 

Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?

A: Aim high and if you just miss you are still in a better place than before- Karen Cone

 

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?

A: Luke combs

 

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

A: Mike Trout because he’s my favorite baseball player. And we’d go to Cheeky

 

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: The great fan base for the high school sports teams

 

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

A: Working as a physical therapist or something with exercise science

 

Q: What show are you binge watching right now? 

A: All-American

 

Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?

A: July, Christmas, the last day of school

 

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

A: My mom

 

Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different?

A: Try to be a two sport athlete

 

Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?

A: Playing baseball with my team and seeing my friends at school

 

Q: Were you involved in any sports or extra curricular activities?

A: Varsity baseball at North Gwinnett

 

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?

A: Hang out with all my friends
