Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path?

A: I am so excited to attend Georgia Tech in the fall to study Public Policy! I want to be a diplomat when I get out of school. Becoming more knowledgeable about current and past public policy will make me a more skilled negotiator and peacemaker.

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

A: My family has lived in Suwanee for about 15 years and we love the Suwanee community! We love to play corn hole, walk our two Miniature Schnauzers, go to the beach, ski, and play trivia together.

 

Q: Where do you go to school?

A: North Gwinnett High School

 

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community? 

A: I love going to Beto’s Tacos, Mellow Mushroom, and Cheeky on the weekends! My family also loves to order pizza from our all time favorite pizza place, Cooley’s.

 

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: I would travel to Tennessee to visit my baby cousin! I haven’t seen her since Christmas and it’s just been way too long!

 

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: Madam Secretary will always be my absolute favorite show, but Alias and The Bachelor are close seconds.

 

Q: What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?

A: The best teams are comprised of different kinds of thinkers and personality types. Everyone has strengths and everyone has weaknesses. Bring your strengths to the table and someone else’s strengths will balance out your weaknesses. -Mrs. Baker

 

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?

A: Ever since I found out that One Direction is making a comeback for their 10 year anniversary, they’re all I can listen to! I can’t wait for their new music to come out in July!

 

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

A: I would love to have dinner with Denise Brinson at Mellow Mushroom so we could finally be on the same team for trivia night!

 

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: I really like how Suwanee has incorporated art into our everyday environment! I also love how Suwanee has gotten students involved by offering so many volunteer opportunities and a chance to learn more about the city through Suwanee Youth Leaders.

 

Q: What show are you binge watching right now? 

A: My friend lent me all five seasons of Alias and it is safe to say that we are obsessed!!! Alias is easily one of the best shows I have ever seen!

 

Q: Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar?

A: My favorite month is October because there is always so much going on in the community, old Disney Halloween movies are on, and the weather is so nice! My favorite holiday is the Fourth of July because it reminds me of how much we have to be thankful for due to the sacrifices of so many who have gone before us. I don’t really have a favorite day because I try to find something to celebrate every day.

 

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

A: My best friend, Quinn, is selfless, brilliant, patient, and kind. She is truly a servant leader and I am better for knowing her!

 

Q: If you could go back over your entire school career what is one thing you would do different?

A: I wish I had found lacrosse sooner!

 

Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?

A: I miss my friends, teammates, teachers, coaches, and mentors so much right now!

 

Q: Were you involved in any sports or extra curricular activities?

A: Latin Club, Lacrosse, North Gwinnett Student Leadership Team, Suwanee Youth Leaders, National Honor Society, Beta Club, Soccer, Cross Country

 

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?

A: I can’t wait to spend time outside with my friends!
