What High School do you attend?
North Gwinnett High School
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My parents are originally from the Philippines and have been in the US for almost 22 years. My dad is working at Verifone as Sr. Director, It Business Systems while my mom work at Davita Dialysis Center working on her License Master Social Work. My oldest sister Hannah is a senior at Georgia State University taking Psychology course, and lastly my youngest sister Haniel is a 7th grade at North Gwinnett Middle who won 2nd Place for “North Got Talent 2021.”
What are your plans after graduation?
I have been accepted at Georgia Tech for Bachelors in Computer Engineering so my plan is to pursue this degree. As a President and founder of the Filipino American Student Association (FASA) at North Gwinnett High School one of my plans is to make sure the legacy of the club is passed on to the next generation to promote cultural diversity and awareness to the community.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Ippolito’s and Seaside Oyster Bar
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I want to travel to Dubai because the country re-invented itself as a global hub for tech and innovation. I want to learn from that. I also want to see their skyscraper’s architectural designs, they have great tourism and to see the camels.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“Guardians of the Galaxy” for favorite movie. For TV show it is “Stranger Things”
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
To work hard, stay committed and focus, love your family and friends and give back to the community by volunteering and participating in the events, programs and activities.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
Stranger Things
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
Mayor Jimmy Burnette to tell him that I’m so proud that my family is residing at Suwanee, which I considered one of the best cities we have ever lived in and good job! I say meet at Seaside Oyster Bar.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
Town Center, the events, the restaurants, the parks and the schools.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Working for NASA or high tech companies in the IT Industry as a Computer Engineer like my dad.
What is something on your bucket list?
To accomplish my masters at MIT after graduating from my bachelors.
What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Bruno Mars
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
December is my favorite month. Christmas is my favorite holiday and best single day on the calendar is December 25!
Who inspires you to be better?
My parents and teachers at North Gwinnett High School have inspired me to be better.
